1. Process Overview & Air Classification Flowsheet
The Talc Micronizing & Air Classification Plant is engineered for high-purity dry processing of soft lamellar talc minerals. Raw talc lumps are pre-crushed in a PE Series Jaw Crusher followed by an impact Hammer Crusher to produce uniform 5-10 mm mill feed.
Size reduction is accomplished in a continuous Ceramic-Lined Ball Mill operating in closed-circuit with a Dynamic Turbo Air Classifier. The high-speed rotor wheel separates ultra-fine particles (D50 < 3 µm, 1250-2500 mesh) from oversize particles, which are pneumatically recirculated back to the mill inlet. Fines are captured in a negative-pressure Pulse Jet Bag Dust Collector with 99.9% filtration efficiency, discharging directly into automated 25 kg valve bag packaging lines.
