Our Stone Crushing Plants provide high-reduction multi-stage crushing (primary, secondary, tertiary) designed for tough quarry rock and gravel processing.
1. Process Overview & Flowchart Explanation
The Stone Crushing Plant is engineered for primary, secondary, and tertiary crushing of abrasive hard rock, granite, basalt, limestone, and river gravel. The process starts at the raw material dump hopper, where large run-of-quarry boulders (up to 1000 mm) are consistently fed via a heavy-duty Vibrating Feeder equipped with grizzly bars. Scalped fines bypass the primary crusher, while oversize rocks enter the PE Series Jaw Crusher for primary crushing down to 100–250 mm.
The primary crushed rock is transferred by belt conveyor to intermediate surge hoppers and routed into secondary and tertiary Symons Hydraulic Cone Crushers or HST Single Cylinder Hydraulic Cone Crushers. The crushed discharge is screened on multi-deck high-efficiency circular vibrating screens. Oversize particles are recycled back to the cone crushers in a closed circuit, while properly sized aggregates are sorted into commercial product bins (0-5mm sand, 5-10mm gravel, 10-20mm stone, and 20-40mm ballast).
