Copper Ore Flotation Plant
High-efficiency copper beneficiation plants featuring forced-air flotation cells and vacuum filtration to produce 25-30% Cu concentrate.
1. Process Overview & Flowchart Explanation
The Copper Ore Flotation Plant is designed for porphyry, volcanogenic, and skarn copper ores (chalcopyrite, bornite, chalcocite, and malachite). Raw ore undergoes primary crushing in a heavy PE Series Jaw Crusher and secondary reduction in an HST Single Cylinder Hydraulic Cone Crusher. The -10 mm product is fed into a Mineral Processing Ball Mill operating with a Spiral Classifier to liberate copper sulfide minerals.
The conditioned slurry is introduced into high-capacity XCF-KYF Inflatable Mechanical Stirring Flotation Machines configured in roughing, scavenging, and multi-stage cleaning banks. Low-pressure forced air creates micro-bubbles that selectively carry hydrophobic copper minerals to the surface froth launder. The final copper concentrate froth is dewatered on a Disc Vacuum Filter to produce high-grade copper filter cakes (25-30% Cu grade with <10% moisture).
2. Technical Advantages & Features
- Forced-Air Bubble Dispersion: XCF-KYF cells deliver uniform micro-bubble distribution and deep slurry circulation without auxiliary slurry pumps.
- High Metallurgical Recovery: Multi-stage cleaning and scavenger recycling achieve 88-94% copper recovery with minimal reagent consumption.
- Low Specific Power Consumption: Optimized hydrodynamics and forward-curved impellers decrease power usage per cubic meter of cell volume.
- Continuous Cake Filtration: Multi-disc vacuum filtration provides large surface area in a compact footprint, delivering dry concentrate ready for shipping.
