Hard Rock Gold Processing Plant

Hard Rock Gold Processing Plant

Integrated milling and beneficiation systems recovering both coarse free gold via gravity and fine sulfide-associated gold via flotation.

1. Process Overview & Flowchart Explanation

The Hard Rock Gold Processing Plant is built for quartz vein gold, sulfide gold, and polymetallic hard-rock gold deposits. Run-of-mine ore is crushed in two stages using a PE Series Jaw Crusher for primary crushing and a Symons Hydraulic Cone Crusher for fine crushing down to -12 mm. Crushed ore is fed into a Mineral Processing Ball Mill operating in closed circuit with a Spiral Classifier or hydrocyclones.

The classifier underflow/recycle stream is directed through a Centrifugal Gold Concentrator and 6-S Shaking Table to immediately recover liberated coarse and medium free gold, preventing over-grinding. Classifier overflow (80% -200 mesh) passes to SF-XJ Self-Aeration Flotation Machines, where chemical collectors and frothers selectively float gold-bearing pyrite and sulfide minerals into a high-grade gold flotation concentrate.

2. Technical Advantages & Features

  • Combined Gravity + Flotation Circuit: Ensures high total gold recovery by capturing free gold early while recovering fine disseminated sulfide gold in flotation cells.
  • Optimized Energy Efficiency: Closed-circuit wet ball milling and spiral classification minimize unnecessary over-grinding and electrical costs.
  • Flexible Reagent Dosing: Supports diverse hard-rock gold ores including tellurides, pyritic gold, and polymetallic complexes.
  • High Concentrate Grade: Gravity concentrates reach smelting grade directly, while flotation concentrates achieve high upgrading ratios (15-30x).
