1. Process Overview & Flowchart Explanation
The Sand Making and Aggregate Shaping Plant transforms small stone chips, quarry tailings, or gravel (0-50 mm) into premium manufactured sand (M-Sand) suitable for high-grade concrete, asphalt, and dry mortar production. Small rock is regulated from surge silos via Vibrating Feeders or electromagnetic feeders into high-performance fine reduction units such as the Symons Hydraulic Cone Crusher and VSI impact sand shaping systems.
The high-speed rock-on-rock impact and compression shear incoming aggregate into uniform cubical sand particles with minimal micro-cracking. Material discharges onto multi-deck vibrating screens where fine manufactured sand (0-4.75 mm) is classified. Oversize material is recirculated back to the crushing circuit, ensuring precise control over the sand fineness modulus (FM 2.4 – 2.8) and continuous high cubical yield.
